Everything you need to know about booking a ticket at The Queen's Hall.

Box Office opening hours

Please note we will be closed on Monday 4th and Monday 18th September 2023 for public holidays.

For phone - +44 (0)131 668 2019 - and in-person bookings and enquiries our hours are: Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm.

Please be patient if you can't get through first time and leave a message; we will call you back.

As a general rule, our Box Office opens for ticket collection and sales 90 minutes before a show begins. The doors to the venue foyer and our bar then open one hour before a show begins. The Box Office then closes approx 15 minutes after the main act has gone on stage.

Booking online

You will be asked for several details when booking online including your full name, email address and postal address. You can store your card details for future purchases. You do not need to create an account, but may want to do so to keep details of your orders.

If you created an account in the past but have forgotten your password, enter your email and you will be sent a link to allow you to complete your purchase.

Access bookings online

Wheelchair spaces and free companion tickets can now be booked online for most shows.

Before you do this for the first time, please get in touch with the Box Office to join our Access Scheme – a quick phone call or email is fine, you won’t need to complete a form or send us anything.

When you get in touch, please let us know:

  • If you need a companion or carer to attend with you
  • If you are a wheelchair user (electric)
  • If you are a wheelchair user (manual)
  • If you are a wheelchair user, but prefer to transfer to a seat for a show

This will be noted on your account and give you access to all booking options online, so that you no longer have to come to the Box Office in person or call us if you don't want to.

You can read full instructions on how you can then book wheelchair and free companion tickets by clicking here.

Payment types

We accept all major credit cards except American Express. The Queen's Hall gift vouchers can be used over the phone or online if they show a reference number. If there is no reference number you will need to make the purchase in person.

Booking charge

There is a £1.50 transaction fee on all telephone, online and postal purchases. This is per sale, not per ticket. This helps fund our Box Office provision and is not a card charge.

Booking fees

The ticket price shown is the price you will pay. If you would like to know which tickets include a £2.50 booking fee, please ask the Box Office.

Ticket options

We encourage everyone with a mobile device to chose the 'e-ticket' option rather than opting for printed tickets. You can show this on your mobile device screen when you arrive.

If you do still need physical tickets, these can be collected in person from the Box Office (please see above for our opening hours). You will need to provide your surname, postcode or booking reference. If you arrive for the show after the Box Office has closed please speak to an Usher who will have your tickets for you. Admission after the start of the show will be subject to the event promoter's guidelines. Read our full Terms and Conditions here.

If you require physical tickets to be posted out to you, these can be posted out up to seven days in advance of the event for a cost of £1.50 per booking. These are sent out by second class post, usually the day after you make your booking. Please allow a bit of extra time for delivery during busy periods (e.g. Christmas) or bad weather. Postage is only available to UK addresses.

Concessions

Concessionary priced tickets are available where indicated. If you are booking these online, please bring proof of eligibility with you to the event.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds unless an event is cancelled or postponed. For sold out events we may be able to resell your tickets on your behalf but cannot guarantee this. You can read our full terms and conditions here

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers make the perfect present for music lovers and are available to purchase in any denomination here. These can be emailed either to yourself or directly to the person you're buying for - you can even set the date when they're sent so they don't arrive before their birthday, anniversary, Christmas etc. You also have the option to add a message. You will need to have an account with us or set one up to make the purchase. Gift vouchers are valid for three years from the date that they're sent.
