An evening of music to celebrate the long evenings of a Scottish summer.

Mirroring Scottish Ensemble’s ever-popular Concerts by Candlelight, this first of a new annual series of events will take you on an atmospheric journey through an eclectic mix of musical styles, including Mozart’s scampering, energetic 'Magic Flute Overture', Vask’s shimmering 'Musica Serena' and Dvorak’s 'American Quartet', evoking expansive, wide open vistas.

To take advantage of that evening sun, we’re setting this concert within the spectacular light-filled atrium of the National Museum of Scotland. We invite you to grab a welcome drink in the museum's Discoveries gallery (doors open 19:15), then settle in and enjoy an evening of superb music in the company of Scottish Ensemble.
