To mark his 20 year anniversary as a flamenco guitarist, the award winning musician and composer Daniel Martinez presents a truly special flamenco guitar concert in Edinburgh’s iconic Queen's Hall.

Born and raised in Cordoba, Andalucia, Daniel started his professional flamenco studies at the age of 7. After 14 years of study at the Royal Conservatoire and having worked in some of the best tablaos in Cordoba, Daniel moved to Scotland and is currently the only fully licensed flamenco guitarist based in the UK.

In 2017, he founded the Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company and has since been touring the UK with his first production ‘Art of Believing’ which recently received a Herald Angel Award as well as being recognised as one of the best productions in the category of music during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

This concert promises the audience an array of flamenco styles and will showcase pieces from Daniel’s first album as well as paying tribute to the guitarists who have had a strong influence on Daniel’s career so far (Paco Serrano, Vicente Amigo, Paco de Lucia, Moraito, Sabicas to name a few). There will also be singing, percussion and dance from some members of the Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company.

If you love music don’t miss the chance to enjoy a concert full of truly stunning Flamenco in this fantastic venue in the heart of Edinburgh.
