Trio Bohémo

Trio Bohémo has swiftly emerged as a force on the international chamber music scene. 

Within just five years, the ensemble has received numerous prestigious international awards. Beethoven's early C minor trio is a remarkably bold and stormy work that signalled his early mastery of the genre – famously prompting his teacher Joseph Haydn to suggest that it might be too advanced for the public. Suk's Elegy is a deeply lyrical work characterised by a sense of nostalgic yearning and tender intimacy. The concert concludes with perhaps one of the greatest works written for this combination of instruments, Schubert's monumental E flat Piano Trio D929. It is renowned for its expansive structures and the haunting melody of the slow movement.
