The Scottish Album of the Year Award 2020 will take place virtually on Thursday 29 October at 7pm and you're invited - sign up via this link.

The Queen's Hall was instrumental in bringing the awards to Edinburgh for the first time in 2019 and were delighted to host Live at the Longlist. The winning album was Auntie Flo with 'Radio Highlife'

Co-hosted by Nicola Meighan and Vic Galloway, The SAY Award 2020 Ceremony will shine a light on the ten albums making up this year's Shortlist, before revealing which album will take home the coveted title of Scottish Album of the Year, and the £20,000 first prize. There will also be special live showcase performances from four of Scotland's most exciting emerging artists: Happy Spendy, Kapil Seshasayee, VLURE and Zoe Graham.

This year's shortlisted albums are:

  • Callum Easter - 'Here or Nowhere'
  • Cloth - 'Cloth'
  • Comfort - 'Not Passing'
  • Declan Walsh and The Decadent West - 'Cheaply Bought, Expensively Sold'
  • Erland Cooper - 'Sule Skerry'
  • The Ninth Wave - 'Infancy'
  • Nova - 'Re-Up'
  • SHHE - 'SHHE'
