Ibrahim Maalouf Live in Edinburgh

Drawing on influences from Jazz to Middle Eastern melodies and Latin jazz, Ibrahim Maalouf brings his unique sound to The Queen’s Hall stage.  

A trailblazing figure in French music, Maalouf is a virtuoso of the modified quarter-tone trumpet, an instrument designed to perform Arabic scales.

The Lebanese-French trumpeter’s recent sizzling appearance at the BBC Proms had the Royal Albert Hall crowd up off their seats and dancing.  

Ibrahim Malouf has achieved global recognition over the past decade, with two Grammy nominations and sell-out shows on the world’s biggest stages. The first jazz musician to fill France’s largest concert hall, he has received multiple international awards.  

His latest album, ‘Trumpets of Michel Ange’ in 2024 was followed by a tour of Asia, and two sold-out shows at La Salle Pleyel in Paris.
