The Edinburgh Kevock Choir is proud to present its 2026 Annual Concert, as it performs for the first time in Greyfriars Kirk.
Variety is the hallmark of the choir, which was formed 59 years ago in Lasswade, Midlothian, and has built its reputation as a leading mixed-voice choir through concerts across Scotland and further afield.
Among more than a dozen works, this year's repertoire features the choral suite from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, compositions or arrangements by John Rutter and Andy Beck, Sheena Fraser's Ye Banks and Braes (dedicated to the choir), John Denver's Perhaps Love, and the beautiful Flight Song, a 2015 collaboration between Kim André Arnesen and Euan Tait.
Our special guests are members of Brass Tracks, who are a delight to listen to.
Graham Lovett, the choir's conductor since 2000, is an experienced music teacher, assessor and competition judge, and was the founding conductor of Lothian Gaelic Choir and of Cadenza. He is also known as a tenor soloist and member of Cappella Nova.
Accompanist Karol Fitzpatrick joined the choir in 2022. A graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she also directs the Midlothian choirs in the National Youth Choir of Scotland.
Tickets £16 (£14 for those aged under 16 or over 65).
