Scotland’s finest young musical talent drawn from the four Scottish Centres of Excellence in Music will perform a varied programme of solo and ensemble pieces to suit all tastes. Wind and string instruments will feature alongside vocal pieces and a special recital using The Queen's Hall’s two Steinway Model D Grand pianos.

Concert patrons will enjoy performances from pupils from Aberdeen City Music School, The City of Edinburgh Music School, The Music School of Douglas Academy, Milngavie and The National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music, Plockton.

The concert will culminate in students from the four centres performing together.

Compere: Lisa Kerr, Principal of Gordonstoun and alumna of The City of Edinburgh Music School.

Our audience will see how these gifted children benefit from the support they enjoy from the Centres which offer specialist music tuition alongside the mainstream curriculum, preparing many for a professional career in future years.

Presented by The Queen’s Hall and Supported by The Tay Trust and The Janelaw Trust
