Bill Callahan, born in 1966 in Silver Spring, Maryland, is a revered lo-fi, alt-country, and indie folk artist known for his deep voice and sparse, poetic songs like “Jim Cain” and “Too Many Birds.” His latest single, “Porcupine Tattoo,” features Noah Cyrus.
