Some of Scotland’s most acclaimed musicians will come together on stage to raise their voices—and critical funds—for those suffering under siege in Gaza.

All proceeds will go toward food, clean water, and medical aid for those in desperate need.

Douglas Robertson, concert organiser, on why he has put this great line-up together and why you should come along:

"Nearly two years into Israel’s brutal military campaign in Gaza, the death toll among Palestinians approaches 70,000, including some 20,000 children, and the man-made humanitarian crisis has reached devastating proportions. Despite widespread international concern, world leaders continue to support Israel politically and militarily whilst suppressing legitimate peaceful protests against the genocide.

Gaza’s hospitals, schools, universities, mosques, shelters, and homes have been mercilessly destroyed. In the West Bank, horrendous violence by extremist settlers—consistently with the backing of state forces—has obliterated countless Palestinian communities, whilst countless murders have gone unpunished.

A recent survey published in Haaretz highlights the extreme polarisation within Israeli society, with a disturbing 82% of respondents supporting expulsion of all Palestinians from Gaza and 47% in favour of the mass killing of all men, women and children.

Throughout this crisis, MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians) has continued its vital work under nearly impossible conditions. Their staff have risked their lives to deliver urgent care, often without the power, water, or basic medical supplies denied by the Israeli occupiers. Many have paid the ultimate price in their commitment to saving others.

As political leadership around the world remains compliant with Israel, we believe it’s vital for ordinary people to speak out and act. This concert is a show of solidarity with the people of Palestine and a call for justice, peace, a Palestinian homeland and the prosecution of those who enabled this barbarism (including ‘our own’ Keir Starmer and David Lammy).

It will also be an incredible concert!!"
