Children’s workshop, for ages 7 - 10

In an active workshop, Monica Wilkinson will introduce twenty children (ages 7 -10) to some of the music from Schubert’s Trout Quintet. There will be two 45-minute sessions with a half-hour break.  The second session will be open to observers (also ticketed but free.)

Supported by Inches Carr Trust

Winterplay - Artistic Director: Susan Tomes

Winterplay is a mini-festival of classical chamber music drawing in a wide range of ages and abilities. It features concerts by top international musicians, a showcase for gifted teenagers, a workshop for primary school children, and a pre-concert talk. It is driven by Susan Tomes’s belief that classical music is not an ‘elite’ activity, but a precious resource that should be open to everyone.

Winterplay is supported by Harriet's Trust
