Riding high on the back of triumphant performances at last year’s Glastonbury, SXSW, Lollapalooza, and Newport festivals, The Low Anthem are one of the music worlds most hotly tipped acts right now. Their distinct, anthemic brand of Americana manages to rise way above its influences, through its startling lyrical imagery and magical melodies. Last year’s album Oh My God, Charlie Darwin shows their hushed, more solemn moments being punctuated by soaring rock-outs, alongside their apocalyptic folk influences.

"The Low Anthem could have sprung fully formed off a Fillmore poster, circa 1968: one part Dylan's erudition, one part Neil Young's hallucinatory visions, one part The Band's rootsy austerity, one part Leonard Cohen's apocalyptic melancholy." (Uncut)
"ethereal transcendence… laden with poignancy" (The Guardian)
