Soul-gripping songs, blazing bagpipes, fiddles and accordions fused with the urban sounds of rock; Skerryvore are an award winning Scottish band creating a 'nu-folk-rock' fusion for the 21st Century.

"Judging by the evidence of this new album, Skerryvore are set for the big time" (Living Tradition)
"This is the real thing, as wild and beautiful as the island they come from" (Donald Shaw, founder member of Capercaillie and Artistic Director of Celtic Connections Festival)

Described in the Nashville press as the “Scottish Songbird”, Paisley-born singer-songwriter Jill Jackson first burst on to the UK music scene as the front woman of rock band Speedway, with whom she scored two top ten hits in 2004. When the band split in 2005, Jill embarked upon a career as a solo artist, developing a musical style far removed from the pop-rock music that made her name. Coupling crafted lyrics and beautiful melodies with a sense of intimacy, this is your chance to catch her performing songs from her new album Back to Zero.
