Unfortunately Karen Cargill has laryngitis so has had to withdraw from Sunday’s concert - her replacement is mezzo soprano Julia Riley.

The programme will now run as follows:

Schumann: Adagio and Allegro; Clara Schumann: Songs, Op 13: Ich stand’ in dunklen Traumen; Sie liebten sich beide; Liebeszauber; Brahms: Two Songs from Op 43:Die Mainacht; Von ewiger Liebe; Schumann: Märchen Erzählungen; Schumann: Fantasy Pieces; Brahms: Songs for mezzo, viola and piano; Mozart: Parto Parto

The programme spans a full century of music and every kind of genre from bravura showpiece to brief, poignant song. The viola and clarinet of Jane Atkins and Maximiliano Martín complement Riley's gorgeous voice; rising star, Simon Lepper is at the keyboard.
