The Berlin-based Kuss Quartet last played for New Town Concerts in 2003 as Rising Stars of the European Concert Hall Association. Their “provocative, driving, impassioned playing” has since established their position at the leading edge of international quartet playing. Their programme brings together the last quartets of Beethoven and Schubert, written only a few months apart.
