80s Scots band Hipsway are set to play The Queen’s Hall later this year. The band are best known for their hits The Honeythief and Tinder.

The Honeythief reached number 17 in the UK singles chart in 1985 and Tinder found fame in soundtracking a McEwan's Lager commercial.

Formed in 1984 by ex-Altered Images Johnny McElhone on bass, the band also featured vocalist Grahame Skinner, guitarist Pim Jones and Harry Travers on drums.
