With special guest Barbara Dickson

Folk singer Emily Smith presents her annual Christmas show ‘Songs For Christmas’. A beautiful blend of original and traditional songs drawn from her folk background combining to inspire and celebrate the festive season. From humble beginnings in a rural farm shop in 2012 Emily has honed a unique, family friendly Christmas night out. In 2016 she released the accompanying album from which her song Find Hope was play listed on BBC Radio 2. Her material has also been featured on BBC Songs of Praise Christmas special.

Emily will be joined by her band Jamie McClennan (guitar, fiddle & vocals), Anna Massie (guitar, fiddle & vocals) and Ross Hamilton (bass & vocals) and special guest Barbara Dickson!

“a Christmas album with a heart of gold” (Maverick)
“Stunning…virtually every number was a highlight" (The Scotsman)
“One of Scotland’s most distinctive voices. The sincerity in Emily’s singing is simply entrancing” (BBC Radio 2)
