Written by Mozart and Chopin when both were in their early twenties, these piano concertos remain popular to this day. The rarely performed versions for string quartet and piano are played alongside Janáček’s Second String Quartet, nicknamed Intimate Letters, inspired by his private correspondence with a close friend.
