Plus special guest Kathleen MacInnes
Highland fiddle player Duncan Chisholm launches his new album Affric - the concluding part of his Strathglass Trilogy - where he'll be joined onstage by Allan Henderson and Matheu Watson.
Affric is the culmination of six years work inspired by the land of his forebears, the home of the Clan Chisholm and one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in Scotland.
Part one of the trilogy Farrar won Album of the Year 2008 at the Scots Trad Music Awards and part two Canaich was nominated in 2010 at the same awards. His appearance at the last year's Scots Fiddle Festival was a highlight of The Queen's Hall's programme and showed the skill and sensitivity of one of Scotland's finest musicians (see YouTube clip below)
"A glorious demonstration of the poetry in Highland music." (The Herald)
