What's On / Doors Open Day
Doors Open Day
26 September 2010 at 11:00amFollowing the success of our first involvement in 2009, The Queen's Hall is participating again in Doors Open Day, the annual celebration of Edinburgh's architecture and heritage.
This is your chance to explore all areas of The Queen's Hall - inside, outside, onstage, backstage!
Our staff will be leading free, informal guided tours through all areas of The Queen's Hall from 11am. These have an approximate running time of around 20 minutes. Places on the tours are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis from our Box Office.
We’ll also have some of our archive video, brochures, posters and documents on display; if you have anything connected to The Queen’s Hall and its history, we’d be delighted to see and hear about it.
"Such a lovely space" (Fairport Convention)
"This Hall is so inspiring" (Elias Quartet)
"What a lovely venue... I'd happily do a residency here" (PJ Harvey)
