Former Esbjörn Svensson Trio (E.S.T.) bassist Dan Berglund releases his first solo recording in early 2010. This is a brand new set of self-penned music that draws from his background in both jazz and rock and grows out of his seminal role in the extraordinary E.S.T. story.

After the untimely death of Esbjörn Svensson in June 2008, Dan and drummer Magnus Öström decided that it would be impossible to just add another musician to replace Esbjörn and began to look for new projects. Berglund has assembled a terrific quartet of fellow Swedes - Tomas Hallonsten (piano), Johan Lindström (guitar) and Andreas Werliin (drums) - playing music that stretches from E.S.T. to Pink Floyd to Röyksopp to Arvo Pärt.
