Artur Pizarro has had a glittering international career in the twenty years since he won the 1990 Leeds International Piano Competition and is now recognized as one of the most poetic of pianists playing today. Another 2010 bicentenary is marked by Pizarro’s all-Chopin programme for New Town Concerts which draws on music from his current epic cycle in London of the composer’s complete works.
