So get ready for our best ever season of Christmas music. Whatever your taste you’ll find it at the Hall. Expect great songs, seasonal favourites and lashings of fun, frolics and festive cheer!
Nothing beats Choral music to get the Christmas spirits soaring and we have The Faculty of Advocates Choir and Harps of Gold presenting every shade of Christmas, past and present.
Bring the children for a trip on board Owen and Olly’s sensational sleigh ride, a Children’s Classic Concert with two shows on Sunday 14 December. The dynamic duo will be acting as Santa’s little helpers and handing out musical treats galore. Meet the Sugar Plum Fairy as you have never seen her before, pop some Champagne corks or go all balletic with some fancy footwork.
As we get closer to Christmas, the Newtongrange Silver Band joins forces with a local choir for an annual musical treat.
We round up our ‘Classical Christmas’ with Cappella Nova, their Carols by Candlelight is a hugely popular annual event. As well as the choral delights there’ll be plenty of opportunity to marvel at the dazzling virtuosity of special guests, St Petersburg Baroque Brass Quintet.
Just like opening presents, perhaps we’re saving the best ’till last. Phil Cunningham’s Christmas Songbook is the best musical Christmas party in Scotland.
