Tony Cox is considered one of South Africa's finest musical exports. Born in Zimbabwe, Cox's style developed from a wide array of influences. Combining his six-string dexterity with a dry humour and a fair dose of story-telling, Cox sweeps any listener away on an aural journey that is at once new, fun and simply unforgettable. His eclectic approach sees him today as one of the world's uniquely gifted guitar players with an infectious flair for rhythm and serious afro-groove. Cox has won three South African music awards. He now resides in the UK and tours the world as a soloist.
