"Panto Has Never Been So Fashionable..."

This December at the Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh, Craft Theatre Co. is bringing a brand new show to the stage! It's Cinderella but not as you may know it...

We follow the story of our heroine Cinderella (Niloo Far-Khan) as she tries to make it in the world of fashion design. Her evil step-mother (Kat Haswell) and editor-in-chief at ELLA magazine, along with her daughters (Lyndsey Whitelaw and Jason Telford) and catty assistants (Stephen James Martin and Rachel Flynn) are out to do whatever she can to stop her step-daughter becoming a success, despite her obvious talent.

Will her friends Buttons (Craig Young) and Anna (Clare Shepherd) manage to get her into one of her own designs and down the catwalk to show off her talents in time to impress top designer Aleksander Primarkski (Brett Herriot) and win the heart of his top model Kristian (Ben Storey)? Or will her dreams be left as scraps on the cutting room floor...? Come along and find out...

With a cast of over 35, this all singing all dancing panto is great fun for all the family! After the huge success of CRAFTS production of Jonathon Larsons rock-opera "Rent!" (July '10) why not come along and see us doing something completely different?!
