The AniMotion Show featuring Dame Evelyn Glennie

14 December 2013 at 7:30pm

Tickets are no longer available to book online through the Queen's Hall but can be purchased on the door this evening at St Giles Cathedral.

This thrilling live art & music concept - developed by acclaimed Russian artist Maria Rud - is taken to the next level thanks to her collaboration with renowned projection artist Ross Ashton.

The programme will feature work by Gavin Bryars performed by soprano Rebecca Tavener, a recital by virtuoso percussionist & composer Dame Evelyn Glennie and will conclude with Dark Matter, a new groundbreaking work by composer & virtuoso flautist David Heath, vocalist Fay Fife (of the Rezillos) and DJ and music producer Dolphin Boy featuring improvisation based on Debussy’s Syrinx.

AniMotion will bring together Art, Music, Architecture and Video Mapping, 3 different artistic disciplines, 3 different genres of music and state-of-the-art technology in this world premiere in the magnificent setting of St Giles Cathedral.
