Sandy Wright & The Toxic Cowboys

29 August 2010 at 11:00pm
at St Bride's Centre

With songs from their acclaimed album 'The Songs Of Sandy Wright', welded together with an astonishing narrative relating to Scotland's Lord High Explorer, the Glaswegian broadcaster, writer, and mountaineer, Tom Weir, and his adventures with his Time Tractor. In a future time, genetically modified barley has caused havoc with the indigenous alcohol making crops in Scotland. There is NO alcohol, there are NO pubs, there are NO gigs, there is no FUN. Enter the Toxic Cowboys, who hope to rectify the dire situation and get some firm bookings in their 2020 diary.
