Sally Barker: Joni Mitchell Project

18 August 2010 at 7:15pm
at St Bride's Centre

Sally Barker's captivating show of Joni Mitchell's poignant songs is dedicated to the cool Canadian from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - one of the truly great singer/songwriters. Sally (of the all-women folk band `The Poozies') is joined by Glenn Hughes on piano and dulcimer and Debbie Cassell on banjo.  From the Satie-esque setting of `Blue' to the rockin' rumpus of `Raised on Robbery' these musicians take you on a dynamic journey through the heart and mind.

'Sally Barker takes some of the most iconic and challenging songs in Joni's catalogue, and makes them her own.' (Peter Doggett, Mojo).
