Ross Couper (Shetland: fiddle) and Tom Oakes (Devon: guitar/flute) are young musicians deeply rooted in the traditions of Scotland and Ireland but with a modern sensibility informing the many musical explorations you will hear in their music. The duo is amongst the leading edge talented young players now working in Scotland. Expect a highly dynamic mixture of power and fragility, warmth and humour to exhilarate and entertain you. Ross and Tom have also appeared with multi-award winning bands and artists including Bodega, Peatbog Faeries, Auvo Quartet, Damien Barber, Luke Daniels and many more.
