Pete Morton : A Random History of Rock 'n' Roll in Middle English, by Geoff Chaucer Junior

26 August 2010 at 6:00pm
at St Bride's Centre

Geoff Chaucer Junior is a medieval troubadour who claims to be the son of the great fourteenth century poet Geoffrey Chaucer. He also insists that he has written many songs that are the original versions of many pop and rock hits we know and love today. His vocabulary may sound odd on first hearing, but some have described it, 'has a rare insight into medieval English', while others think he just has an irritable vowel problem. With 600 years on the road under his girdle it's time the digital age caught up with the 'Trewe Kynge of Poppe and Rocke'!
