The child Naciketa poses Death three questions about love, reconciliation and mortality, in a musical journey of hope across continents from India to Africa and finally to South America

Commissioned and produced by Opera Circus with affiliated partners Opera North and Scotland's foremost contemporary chamber group, Hebrides Ensemble, with tabla player Sarvar Sabri, Indian Dhrupad singer Prakriti Dutta, and guitarist Simon Thacker.

The performances:
Please join us for an intimate 70-minute performance of six short extracts from this new work with a specially written narrative by Ariel Dorfman. Each performance will feature a Q&A with Ariel Dorfman and Nigel Osborne.
