Mark Barnett is a singer/songwriter and guitarist based in Edinburgh. Steve Rutherford is a mandolinist from the kingdom of Fife. Mark and Steve have been playing together for over four years and have co-written many songs together. Mark released debut album "Departures" in 2008 and has received airplay on Celtic Music Radio. Previously Mark's music has been used by the BBC. The songs range in theme from the spiritually uplifting "Giraffes" to the despair of "Emptiness Inn", there are songs inspired by the city of Edinburgh and a song inspired by a kebab house.
