Having played together since childhood in the small Shetland village of Quarff, Filska lend finesse to their homeland's indigenous folk music - three female fiddlers weave innovative arrangements over driving guitar and piano, creating music that shimmers and sweeps, before soaring with power and precision.

Celebrated by the New York Times, the high-spirited quartet - Jenna and Bethany Reid, Gemma Wilson and Andrew Tulloch - have played before Prince Charles and an international television audience of millions during the millennium celebrations. Currently writing their fourth album, the group is touring the UK and Europe this summer.
