"Shandrix" is legendary accordion player, Sandy Brechin's, wild electric ceilidh band. Fresh from Belladrum Festival (early August), the band's unique funky ceilidh sound is fabulous for dancing - fancy fingerwork, driving bass, drum rhythms. If you're new to Scottish dancing, don't worry: Sandy will talk you through all the usual dances, and then some, in his inimitable humorous style of `controversial calling'! Shandrix have played all over the world, and regularly play Edinburgh's Hogmanay. Famous fans include Prince Charles, who owns a copy of the band's debut album, Electric Landlady.
